American actor Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge. She began her career in an actor in the teen comedy films Big Fat Liar (2006) and She's the Man (2006). Later, she played reporter Willa McPherson on the FX series Dirt and had a supporting part in the short-lived drama The Ex List. In the premiere season, she was in the role of Moira O'Hara, an untried Moira and in the second season she was Kaylee. She played Jessie Anderson on AMC's The Walking Dead as well as Sophie on The NBC series This Is Us. She is also the voice of several characters from the animated comedy series Family Guy. She is currently the voice of Melinda "Mel" Monroe, a character on Netflix's show Virgin River. Breckenridge lived in Darien, Connecticut, until the age of 10 at which point she and her mother moved to California,[1] where they were able to move around for a year before finally settling in Mill Valley. Breckenridge began to become interested in photography, acting and singing when she was 13. She moved to Los Angeles with her mother when she was 15 to pursue a career in acting.
