Scarlett Johansson is an American actor and singer who was born in the city of New York, New York on November 22 in 1984. Her acting has earned her acclaim across a wide variety of genres, including the genres of period dramas, thrillers and action adventures. Johansson, born to an architect and a producer, was raised as a child in New York City. Hunter, her twin sister, was born in New York City. At the age of seven years old, her passion for acting had grown. Her first audition was for commercials. Soon after she enrolled at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute and then took classes at the Professional Children's School in Manhattan for further training in her craft. As a child, Johansson appeared in Sophistry with Ethan Hawke and made her movie debut at Rob Reiner's North in 1994. Johansson subsequently starred on the screen in Just Cause (1995), however, her breakthrough occurred in the form of Manny & Lo a coming of age movie about two sisters running away. Next, she received the praise of critics for playing a teenage girl who had suffered an accident that left her with a blemish as she appeared in The Horse Whisperer (1998). Her popularity grew with the film Ghost World (2002) as the cynical outcast Rebecca. Renee Felice Smith started her professional career in entertainment as a child. As a child she discovered her passion for acting. Smith was offered her first gig acting at the age of 6 years old, thanks to her parents. Smith was in a Dannon TV commercial. Like many actresses who are new choose to pursue, she decided to build her talent in theatre. When she performed her stage debut in Wildflower she also worked in various projects throughout the USA. Her education was in Stonestreet Studios, the Stonestreet Studios Conservatory of the New York University Tisch School of the Arts.
